a new devised work by the
2016-2017 Protégé Ensemble
Based on A Nervous Breakdown by Anton Chekhov
May and Artemis, two students at the local university, convince their friend, V, to let loose to cope with the stresses of academia. The trio hit the town for a night of revelry and debauchery. As they progress from house to house through the Red light district of S Street, V is forced to confront his preconceived notions of morality, class, and what it means to live a good life.
Point of V explores whether sin, salvation, vice and virtue are objective constants or malleable perceptions.
